How It All Ends

In a conversation with my little brother a few weeks back, he mentioned that my old high school physics teacher had been putting up some videos on YouTube with an argument about what should be done concerning the global climate change debate. Now, I feel that this guy Craven is one of, if not the best, teacher that I have ever had and I’ll agree that he has put together a very sound a logical video concerning what should be done in response to scientific global climate change claims and the skeptic’s opinions.

Take a look at the video for yourself.

Recently, he started spamming YouTube by uploading the same video numerous times but under different titles and keywords in order to attract more views. Personally, I think it is a message that others should see and hopefully I’m doing my part by both writing about it and also asking my friends on YouTube to feature and highlight his video.

So please, despite what you think about global climate change, take a look at it, even for the first few minutes and if you like what you hear or think that it is a compelling argument, please pass it on to your family, friends and coworkers so that this message can get out.

    balancedman-

Thanks for the post. I am a pre-service high school physics teacher and wonderingmind42 has a bunch of great things to offer. He will affect my teaching for sure.

Regarding SPAM: Right now wonderingmind42 has numerous videos with similar names that are actually different chapters of his argument.

    Thanks again,

    j3n

I agree. Wonderingmind42 was my high school chemistry and physics teacher and he was a great guy. I’m thinking about doing the Teach For America program, and if I do I think I might choose to teach similar classes, so I’ll have to get some advice and lesson plans from him.

While J3n is correct that he has an expansion pack out that says “How it all ends: The nature of Science 1″ and 2, 3, ECT. He also has produced clones of his “How it all ends” video in an effort to get the word out.

I just want to say that you people that had him for a teacher are about the luckiest people in the world. I read on comment that said, “I wish we could clone this guy and put him in every science class across the nation.” and I agree with that commenter.

If you guys want to help. You can direct people towards Manpollo.org. It is a site that has links to all his videos, all the documents that he tells you to google, and is the first phase of his master plan that he puts forward in “How it all ends: The Manpollo Project. You can also download his videos from there if you want to make a DVD instead of sitting in front of the computer for hours watching the expansion pack.

Yeah, Craven really is a great teacher, and I think just about every student who has had him will agree that he has both the passion and competency that make him great.

It also points out a flaw in the education system. A few years back he was actually let go by my school, despite being a great teacher, due to budget cuts. This was, of course, right as he bought a house in the area and was getting married. But, he was the newest teacher and thus was let go instead of the old health teacher that no one really liked.

Anyways, I’m glad he’s back at Central. I’ll have to go visit him sometime soon. He has my full support in his message and efforts about global warming, and created a darn impressive video argument.
