Busted!

I am new to blogging, and in fact am not sure if it is something that I’m completely comfortable with. I probably should use LiveJournal, because there I can make my posts either public or private depending on the amount of sensitive information that they contain. And I have a good reason for doing so.

A few months back I hooked up with a girl. Very beautiful and nice. But, it was my first week living in Europe and I wasn’t really ready to settle down and look for a relationship. She didn’t like my view on this issue. Anyways, on one of the posts I mentioned about how I attracted her, and a few other posts mentioned my other trips out trying to get girls in Denmark.

Last week I was on a party boat between Copenhagen and Oslo and I got called out. Drunk and in the middle of the dance floor, the girl comes up to me and says the name of my blog and that she has “inside information”. Now, I hadn’t written or looked at the website for over two months, so I didn’t remember what I had posted there. Now having a chance to review it…well let’s just say it wasn’t that bad, but I took the site down regardless. It was pretty uncomfortable and really not that great of an issue to have with this girl, who’s good graces I seem to be in a roller coaster with (either very high or low at any given time).

The next day the girl apologized for being rude to me, and I appreciate that, but I’ll be in honest in that I messed up. It’s unfortunate, and I simply have to move on. It just reinforces the notion that the web is by no means anonymous and you can easily get called out on your actions, so be sure that what you write or post (to YouTube, etc.) is nothing that could become too embarrassing or incriminating, and something you can be proud of.
