So tonight I totally struck out. Maybe it was because I was tired…I went to Malmo (Sweden) earlier today and took a nap in the evening before trying to go out around midnight. Anyways, I went to K3 for the first time, and it is quite the nice club venue. The girls were absolutely amazing. I mean, there were several good girls from my exchange I knew would be there, but the local Danish girls were HOT!

This isn’t really an aberration though, as every time I go out I see tons of beautiful girls. This time I would say that 85% of the girls were an 8+…and I’m grading on the Danish scale, which is more rigorous than American’s back home. Danish girls are without a doubt among the most beautiful in the world.

Here’s the proof. Two days ago (Tuesday night) I lucked into paying a doorman to enter a private party… the Chezch Republic/Slovakia Model Search Party 2007.  It was a great party, with free drinks and wardrobe, and I made it into the VIP section before the end of the night. Several of the models were nice and I made friends with them, and they suggested I should be a model (too nice…). Some of the girls were 15! Crazy, they could have passed for 21 EASILY.

Anyways, the party was great, but the random Thursday night in Denmark hosted more beautiful girls then the model party. Danish girls are impeccible.

However, maybe I like the American attitude more. Danish girls are very finicky…and there are several of examples how. At the very least, the fact that the Danish girls are “more sophisticated” (according to my Danish friend) and don’t dirty dance with guys helps to illustrate this point. My friends and I met a half-American, half-Danish girl at the pizza place after going to the club, and not only was she beautiful but had a charming personality. I think I need to marry a girl like that.

Anyways, this is just a random rant after a long night out. It’s 5:30 local time and hopefully I’ll be hitting the hay soon. I have a lot to update, including my trips to Russia and Prague and also about my crazy exam HELL week.

According to the Meyers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator test, I am an INTJ (Introvert, iNtuitive, Thinking, Judging). It is one of the rarer of the 16 personality types, with only about 1% of the general population testing to this result. I have always kind of prided myself on this, thinking that “hey, I’m a mastermind”. I thought it was cool.

Actually, the inspiration for this post came from things I’ve been reading online about business. One step is to create a Mastermind group. Essentially, you don’t have enough time to maintain hundreds of good relationships in your life, so choose about a dozen people and create very good relationships with them. Furthermore, it is a good idea to have this support group be able to help you out in your endeavors, whatever that may be. I believe this may have originally come from Napoleon Hill’s book Think and Grow Rich, which I surprisingly have not yet read, having known about it and wanted to read it for the last several years. I need to catch up on my reading.

Anyways, I can think of one guy whom I barely know, but think he’d be perfect. He’s 21, into technology (does some computer coding and has a few websites) and got money from his uncle so that he could purchase his first real estate investment property last year. In meeting with him, he seems perhaps a bit odd and quiet, but I know that he is a smart guy who will find that unique business opportunity that will give him financial success. Hopefully I can get in touch with him and make him part of my group. There are some others, such as a few of my fraternity brothers, who I think of in a similar light, but we’ll see how that all works out.

Do you have a mastermind group, and if so how does that work? Is it just friends or an actual group that meets, and are the people more like or unlike how you individually are? 

I woke this morning and there were several great videos in my browser that I watched last night.

First Wedding Dance. Not only can this couple shake it and move, but the girl is extremely attractive. I hope I meet a girl cool enough to do something like this at our wedding. Wait, no…I will.

Busted! Strip Dance Edition.  I remember a while back seeing a video where some girl’s mom walked in and started dancing in the background of the video. Here’s the daddy edition. The girl, who looks to be very cute and like she was going to be stripping naked, has her dad find her. Good save by the father and I feel sorry for whoever was on the other end of that video conference.

Whatever Writers’ Strike. I need my television shows. No Office, Heroes, etc. etc. is going to take it’s toll on me. Granted, this means I can catch up on other apparently great shows, but it’s just not the same. That’s what the summer is supposed to be for.

Another Great Condom commercial. I think I might have to track down and make a video post of the best condom commercials ever.

Mad Abercrombie. Combined skits from Mad TV about Abercrombie and Fitch. It leads to parody so well.

Also, I watch WHATTHEBUCK and sXePhil on YouTube enough that they deserve another shout out. Love ya guys!

Leave it to Will Ferrell and his buddies to come out with another great viral video. Personally, I think that Ferrell was great on SNL, and while his movie career started out great, it has kind of dwindled. He seems almost typecast as a sports-spoofing character, whether it be skating, basketball or race car driving, though Elf and Anchorman are clear exceptions. It’s nice to see him get back to his sketch-comedy roots and I hope that he continues to do more.

I think they need to reunite the mid-90’s SNL cast together, at least for a show. Dana Carvey, Mike Meyers, etc. That would be amazing. Oh yeah, this video is “Green Team” where the guys are a little too enthusiastic about the environment.

I worked at Nike last summer as an intern, and it was a great job where I learned about the importance of branding and a good corporate culture. One things I did with some other interns was make a video that spoofed several of the Nike commercials, which seemed to go over pretty well.

While Nike may not care for this spoof, it was a pretty funny combination of making fun of Nike and the To Catch A Predator Dateline NBC show.

It made me smile. Hopefully it will for you too.

I can’t purchase Red Bull. It’s got ingredients which are illegal in Denmark. As a result, I’ve been drinking Burn and Hustler, but they don’t really provide the same kick. When I get back to the U.S.A and have a dollar to waste, I might have to try this magic trick using science to prevent liquid from falling out of an opened Red Bull.

I know that YouTube took heat a while back because people were giving away all of the Magicians’ secrets and tricks involving coins, cards, etc. This isn’t quite the same, but these little gimmicks are always good to impress someone when trying to kill time.

Today I saw a clip that was supposedly left out of Michael Moore’s movie Sicko. It saw that based on numerous metrics (healthcare, average earnings, quality of life, environmental protection, etc.) that Norway is the best country in the world to live in. I don’t know if I can disagree.

When I was 12, I spent a summer in Kragero, Norway, and it was absolutely beautiful. I will likely have to go back at some point to visit my relatives there. Currently living in Denmark and having visited Oslo and Stockholm within the last few weeks, I feel that maybe one day I will want to move back to Scandinavia, even if it’s simply for retirement. It is a gorgeous area, the people are laid-back, friendly, and the most beautiful (physically) in the world…and it is a great place.

One factor that may hold me back is the cost of living however. The taxes are high throughout Scandinavia, most pressingly so in Norway. It’s almost socialist concerning how much money the government takes, as well as how many people the government employees. But for a small group of people (only a handful of million citizens) this seems to be an effective approach. As the world gets bigger and more over-populated I wonder if Noway will be able to keep it’s currently system.

I don’t play video games much anymore. Growing up I was always playing them, and my mom had trouble getting me to go outside or go to bed. That’s not the case anymore. I just don’t have time. Granted, every once in a while I want to kick back with some Warcraft 3 or play Final Fantasy (or a good sports game like NCAA Football), but that doesn’t happen too often as I don’t own any of the newest console systems from Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo.

Maybe that should change. The Wii, being out for a year, now has good titles. I thought the innovative controls seemed interesting, and I’ve played it once at my friends house during a party. It makes for a lot of fun, and you could tell a girl “let go back and play the Wii”. I’m not a huge gamer, but the Wii seems like the console that spans the normal age group, meaning maybe my mom would want to play some Wii tennis.

I’ve been a Nintendo fan forever, but had to get Sony when they had the SquareSoft titles. I don’t know if this trend will continue for me. I’d actually like to have a Microsoft XBox 360 and use a USB modchip to turn it into an easy media PC that I can stream video onto my television from. But maybe that’ll have to wait too. The Wii seems like a great gift for anyone

For Christmas mom, get me a Wii!

When I was younger, I used to contribute to a Warez site, which hosted software for download illegally. Now, this was quite some time ago (over six years) and piracy was the furthest I ever got into the sketchy technology scene. While I knew a few tricks, I never claimed to be a hacker (except for the classical definition of someone who tinkers and explores things).

I was crawling the Internet while I should be either studying or sleeping, and I came across a video of a guy who freely admits that he entraps potential pedophiles and then hacks their computer. While I agree that predatory pedophiles are among the most fucked up individuals we have in our society, I can’t defend the ethics of what this guy is doing. The video is a screen capture where he goes into a chat room posing as a 14 year old girl. Then, when he talking to men who are 21 and 25 years old, it shows that he attempts to hack their computer by killing virus protection and attempting to run malicious code on their systems. When this doesn’t work, he resorts to modifying their desktop wallpaper with a message to stop talking to girls.

Now, from the conversations, it is hard to really justify these guys as criminal pedophiles. I don’t know any normal, socially adjusted 21+ year old men who would sit and talk with a 14 year old stranger on the Internet. This is something that losers do. But I have a feeling there are a whole lot more socially inept losers than people actually looking for a physical meeting. In fact, just chatting with people on the Internet I find altogether strange, as I’d much rather be doing things in my own life (sports or meeting real girls somewhere).

Regardless, pedophilia is a large problem, as those undercover television shows easily indicate. If these men (on the video) who thought they were chatting with a 14 year old girl had their property damaged, then I can’t really consider that to be right. I didn’t see anything where they were explicitly wrong (like asking for nude photos, sex talk or to meet somewhere). But it is sketchy regardless.

What is an appropriate age for this behavior? If a girl is 14, then there is no way she should be dating someone older than 18, and even then that is quite a stretch. But a 20 year old dating a 16 year old doesn’t seem that unreasonable, and surely when you get above 18, anything within a 10 year age difference is considered acceptable and normal.

Anyways, surely I’m getting off topic right now, but the point of this post was to point out that some people may be taking action into their own hands a bit too far. What this guy did (scaring pedophiles away) is admirable, but not when he uses illegal hacking methods to do so. Crazy how far some people can take it. Opinions anyone?

You know how you watch the news and every few months there is a special about how dirty hotel rooms are…things like sperm on the ceiling and such. Well, here’s another aspect of the clean room that I had never even thought about. Apparently, hotel glassware doesn’t get cleaned. This means who knows what sort of bacteria and diseases you could pick up. It really is quite disgusting if you think about it.

Granted, where I’m living now, there is no dishwasher so I wash everything by hand. That works, but I use hot water and dish soap, not non-consumable glass-cleaner as multiple hotels were shown to be using. With this investigation, I have to assume that this is a standard practice in the hotel industry and that’s a bit scary, especially concerning that I just finished traveling so much.

Next time, I think I’ll be washing my own glass again just to be on the safe side.
